Yes!! More last minute SunSlice purchases coming in before the end of the year. I just decided to go ahead and get one SunSlice for my 16 year old son. I know of at least two other existing members who have already gifted their children with SunSlices in the last couple of weeks. Gifting a future of clean energy to our future generations. Way to go!!
We are really close to reaching our target. Thank you to all existing and new members!!

It is now officially confirmed that any resident of WA state can become a member of the Edmonds Community Solar Cooperative, buy SunSlices, and receive all the corresponding benefits and returns. Join us now, before the end of the year, to help us lock in the largest amount of Federal Grants for 2012.

After 3 days and 2 nigths up on the roof, I'm now back on the ground. Great experience! Trusting it's helped to motivate many to join the solar co-op and be part of this grass-roots movement to bring local clean energy to our communities and green jobs to our State.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was very well attended yesterday afternoon, and the presentation by Chis, Stanley, Carlo, Bob, Mayor Cooper, Senator Chase, etc. was inspiring. Let's get another 30+ SunSlices purchased by our SnoPUD friends and neighbors and lead the country in community owned solar.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for Phase 1 will take place on October 19th at 1:30pm in the Plaza Room of the Edmonds Library Building, 650 Main Street.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there to officially inaugurate the first citizen-owned Community Solar Cooperative in Washington State.
This is what the future looks like: Community Owned, Locally Generated, Clean, Green, and Renewable Energy. Using locally manufactured equipment.
